This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby French Woods Golf & Country Club is a perfect way to kill some time, and unsurprisingly, this is a glorious area for folks who like lakes, Silver Lake is a lake in close proximity. Ski Big Bear is a very popular ski area close at hand. A good deal of rain falls at Swago Pond; August is when you get the       most rain here while February is usually the driest month. Hiking along the Steam Mill Trail is magnificent fun, and dry warm beds await you at Villa Roma Resort Lodges. Whitewater paddling is great on Callicoon Creek - East Branch, and if you need a site to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Crawford Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and paddling on Callicoon                  Creek - North Branch is so much fun. If you came for an overnight stay Red Barn Campgrounds is a tremendous spot to camp, and you're most likely interested in lakes, Laurel Lake is one of those nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Swago Pond. Take a hike on the Schiff Trail, and camping is available at Upper Delaware Campgrounds. Through the summer at Swago Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
