Swago Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Near Swago Pond you stumble on the Steam Mill Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; if you need a site to stay Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a glorious choice. There is a nice hiking trail near Swago Pond called the Schiff Trail, and a picturesque lake like Laurel Lake is a brilliant location to explore. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a good panorama of Tyler Hill from Swago Pond, and

| | do explore Silver Lake, it's a charming lake. Through the months of summer here at Swago Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Swago Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Swago Pond has to offer, you can camp at Upper Delaware | |

Campgrounds, and if you come at the right time of year, Callicoon Creek - North Branch offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Swago Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Red Barn Campgrounds is a great
place for that, and enjoy a round of golf at French Woods Golf & Country Club. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Swago Pond. A magnificent nearby hotel is The Lodge at Woodloch; the skiing at Mount Tone
is wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Callicoon Creek - East Branch in a kayak, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Ski Big Bear. Going for a hike on the Crawford Trail is always a good adventure. The high level of precipitation
makes Swago Pond a rather wet spot; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

The facilities are well maintained, and they offer both wooded and camper sights. They even have some walk-in sights near the lake. One of the best points is that they have launches and docks for boating on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. We have gone for the past 2 years and plan on doing so again this year.... |
