Gorson Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and Sunny Hill Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. Sunset Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Everybody close by loves skiing at Tanglwood, and hiking along the Bald Barren Trail is perfect fun. A tour to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile.

| | a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail, and Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a fine location to get some rest. Get drenched paddling on Hornbeck's Creek, and there are other spots here than Sunset Lake, for example Lake Log-n-Twig. This lake is so wonderful. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Maple Brook Trail, and Shawnee Mountain is a splendid local ski area.

to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Sunset Lake tend to be in the 10's. A great site to camp here at Sunset Lake is Dingmans Campground; if you need a place to stay Fernwood
Hotel and Resort is a great choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bush Kill Creek, and camping is available at Resorts USA.
