In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Harveys Creek, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Hazleton is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you're dropping by Sunset Lake from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, you won't be the only one. Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums is a delightful spot to get some rest. A typical amount of rain falls here at Sunset Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Why not go to Croops
Dam if you're here. There's so much to do here at Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a delightful location for that. You simply must go for Sunset Lake. Whitewater paddling is great
on Wapwallopen Creek; Sunset Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites is a perfect local campground.
