     In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Harveys Creek, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Hazleton is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you're dropping by Sunset Lake from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, you won't be the only one. Roaring Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and Sunset Lake is right by the Old Bulldozer Road Trail. Summertime highs at  
   Sunset Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Sunset Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Turkey Pond is around here, and enjoy a round of golf at Sweet Valley Golf Course. Not far from Sunset Lake, you'll locate Lingertots Pond which is a beautiful lake, and Americas
 
               Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums is a delightful spot to get some rest. A typical amount of rain falls here at Sunset Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
Why not go to Croops Dam if you're here. There's so much to do here at Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a delightful location for that. You simply must go for Sunset Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Wapwallopen Creek; Sunset Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites is a perfect local campground.
