Many people like to go to Summit Lake. There's so much to do here at Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, How Kola Camp is a great site for that; Spring Brook is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Summit Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Summit Hills Golf Course, and you can

| | go for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lance Pond; perfect hiking is available along the Refuge Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Summit Lake. During your trip to Summit Lake you'll meet some people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre for sure. Montage Mountain in the neighborhood, and the panorama of West Mountain is charming. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a great place to spend a night or two, and Summit Lake Dam is a location that is close to
Summit Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawanna River, and if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Clarks Summit is a pleasant choice.
Summertime highs at Summit Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the
10's to Summit Lake. Any time is a good time at Summit Lake if you adore the outdoors. If you came to camp Highland Camp Ground is a good location to do that, and there's great hiking along the Choke Creek Trail.
