Sugar Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with lots of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Stay the night at Playland Camping Park, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Scrubgrass. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Quality Inn And Conference Center       is a pleasant choice, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on South Sandy Creek. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is MT Hope Golf Course; Meadville-Days Inn Conference Center is a tremendous place to get some rest. You absolutely should like Sugar Lake. Sugar Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Brookdale Family Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and Sugar Lake is not far at all from Meadville. At Sugar Lake                  during the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
