This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Blue Marsh; Strasburg Reservoir is not far at all from Lancaster. After a long day outdoors Carriage House Motor Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and the Horseshoe Trail offers hiking at its best. Strasburg Reservoir gets a typical amount of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain; February is       the month with the least moisture. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Muddy Creek - Susquehanna Tributary; Strasburg Reservoir is a good location to camp, White Oak Campground is a good location. Beaver Creek Farm Cabins is a splendid place to get some rest, and Mill Bridge Camp Resort Mill Bridge Village is a magnificent campground here. You clearly ought to love Strasburg Reservoir. There's some flowing water close by, Calamus Run is a stream                  you can stop at while you're here; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Octoraro Creek. Near Strasburg Reservoir you find a golf course called Tanglewood Manor Golf Club, and Oak Hill can be distinguished from Strasburg Reservoir. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Strasburg Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Strasburg Reservoir.
