The beauty of State Line Lake attracts many people from all around. For the duration of the days of summer at State Line Lake highs are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at State Line Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do near State Line Lake. | | to catch a glimpse of at Gould Pond Dam close to State Line Lake; going for a hike on the Gretchens Lock Trail is always a great adventure.
State Line Lake is a good site of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through July; February is when it's the driest. There are nice places to discover along the Vondergreen Trail; why not check out close by Sulphur Run while you're here at State Line Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman) is a great spot to get some rest, and State Line Lake is not far at all from New Castle.
Do stop at Gould Pond in close proximity to State Line Lake, it's a stunning lake, and State Line Lake is a
great location to camp, Flying Finn Family Campground is a great location. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Crawford's Camping Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little
Beaver Creek. If you need a location to stay AmeriHost Inn & Suites East Liverpool is a fine choice; close by you come across the Fishermans Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
If you're a golfer then a great close by course
is East Palestine Country Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Beaver Creek offers some great whitewater.
