Lakes? Sure, Miskita Lake is close at hand, and Crawford's Camping Park is a magnificent local campground. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling near State Line Lake is Little Beaver Creek; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Gould Pond. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at State Line Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at State Line Lake during the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Gretchens Lock Trail, and a great close by hotel is Baymont Inn and Suites E. Liverpool. This lake is so wonderful. Sulphur Run is a tremendous local stream, and since you're here you can play some golf at East Palestine Country Club. The amount of precipitation that falls at State Line Lake is close to the national average; July is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month.
