The beauty of Stark Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. There's whitewater on Lackawanna River for all you adrenaline kick people, and close by you find the Pinnacle Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Stark Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after

Sure, Covey Swamp is near Stark Reservoir, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Refuge Trail. The skiing at Montage Mountain is perfect; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Spring Brook Intake is one of those nearby. the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at How Kola Camp is always a glorious experience, and a golf course nearby is Pine Hills Country Club. Be careful coming to Stark Reservoir, you might not
ever wanna return home again. A great swamp in the neighborhood of Stark Reservoir is Covey Swamp, and Jack Frost is a fine local ski area. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Stark Reservoir. Some of the water close
by flows, like Dry Valley Run, and if you need a site to stay Courtyard By Marriott Scranton is a great choice. Going for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and during your tour here you'll meet some
people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Covey Dam if you're here at Stark Reservoir, and if you came to camp Highland Camp Ground is a delightful site to do that. Comfort Suites Scranton is
a fine spot to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Spring Brook.
