Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Stairway Lake is one of them. A brilliant site to camp here at Stairway Lake is Kittatinny Campgrounds, and don't leave Stairway Lake without first going for a hike along the Bald Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Stairway Lake is Delaware River, and if you need a spot to stay Nolan's River Inn Motel is a splendid choice. | | it keeps on going; Stairway Lake has it all. A great swamp near Stairway Lake is Bushkill Swamp, and hey, Gotta ski right? Holiday Mountain is a fine location to do that.
If time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth checking out, and camping is available at Cedar Ridge Campgrounds. Mighty M Motel is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Fish Cabin Creek flows through this vicinity; Mongaup River is a great whitewater spot nearby. A normal amount of rain falls here at Stairway Lake; most of the rain falls during May while February
is regularly the driest month. Going for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail is always a nice adventure, and don't forget to stop by Wallowing Hole since you're here.
For the period of the long summer days at Stairway Lake highs are
frequently in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stairway Lake.
