There's so much to do here at Stahineckers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Little Pine State Park is a splendid spot for that; you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Hamilton Lake is one of those close by. The annual precipitation here at Stahineckers Pond is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. | | down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Stahineckers Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. Bear Run flows through this area; the nice people of Williamsport like to hang out close by. Just can't get enough of Stahineckers Pond. visible from Stahineckers Pond; going for a hike on the Rank Hollow Trail is always a great adventure. So many enjoyable things to do at Stahineckers Pond, so little time. If you came to camp Happy Acres Resort is a perfect location
to do that; you can go for a hike on the Bear Path Trail. If you need a place to stay Genetti Hotel and Suites is a great choice; if you've had enough of Stahineckers Pond, Little Pine Creek State Park Reservoir is close by. A tour
to Eutermarks Hollow is always fun, and whitewater paddling is fine on Babb Creek. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Ski Sawmill, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Williamsport is a magnificent place to get some rest.

 | 13 miles away 5 PHOTOS We are seasonal campers at Susquehanna and love it. Although there is not a whole lot to do in the campground itself, there are many attractions close by. It is a good place to bring the kids and not have to worry about them. The Susquhanna river provides swimming, boating and tubing. There is a rec. hall in which we have many parties and pot luck suppers. There are many friendly people always willing to lend a hand if needed. I would recomend this site to anyone.A few pictures have been posted to show the river and some of the parties.... Good fun time... |
Canyon Country Campground
 | 14 miles away ...PA Grand Canyon. Wooded surroundings provides ample shade. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. No hookup to (20/30amp) E/W/S sites. We also have rustic and full bath cabins.
