From a rain point of view Stacey Pond is a relatively normal place; the month with most of the rain is June; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sugar Creek, and you can stay the night       at Armenia Mountain Campground. But wait, there's more to do near Stacey Pond. There is a fine hiking trail right next door to Stacey Pond called the Hoagland Trail, and Cayuta Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Stacey Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Stacey                  Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
