A visit to Springdale Lake is always a good idea. Springdale Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Sewickley Creek in a kayak, and Bailey Run is right next door to Springdale Lake and is always a delight to go to. Enjoy a round of golf at Sewickley Heights Golf Club Sewickley not far from Springdale Lake.

Get covered with water paddling on Pine Creek, and this is a popular spot for folks from Pittsburgh. Summer at Springdale Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Springdale Lake.
Camp Adventure is a tremendous campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Clarion Hotel New Kensington is a nice location to spend a night or two.
