If you like lakes and you're in this part of Pennsylvania you can check out Spring Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Old Laury Dam if you're here at Spring Pond; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lizard Creek. Mountain is a very popular ski area close by. Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a great national park; needless to say Fells Creek flows through this region.
Ramada Inn Allentown/Whitehall is a delightful place to
get some rest, and Spring Pond is a good place to camp, Don Laine Campground is a good place. At Spring Pond you always meet someone from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Boulder Field
Trail. A great nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - ALLENTOWN; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bear Creek.
