If you are in Lackawanna county it's always a good idea to stop by Spring Brook Intake. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Spring Brook Intake. Spring Brook has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and you'll stumble on a delightful lake called Covey Swamp. There's pleasant hiking along the Refuge Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Pine Hills Country Club is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful.

Why not camp at How Kola Camp if you're here at Spring Brook Intake, and a great close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Scranton. Swamps don’t sound that perfect but Covey Swamp near Spring Brook Intake is quite perfect, and everyone close by loves skiing at Jack Frost. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Spring Brook Intake. | |

If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Spring Brook Intake Dam. Dry Valley Run flows through this area, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Lackawanna River. Through the summertime months at Spring
Brook Intake highs are mostly in the 70's; the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spring Brook Intake.
Montage Mountain is a nice local ski area, and a tremendous location to camp here at Spring Brook Intake is Highland Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Spring Brook Intake there are plenty of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre,
and the Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at its best. A large amount of rain falls at Spring Brook Intake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
