Whitewater paddling is fine on Kitchen Creek; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Mifflinville is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pole Bridge Trail; get drenched paddling on Loyalsock Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. | | through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Splashdam Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. Go for a hike on the Old Bulldozer Road Trail, and Lake John is a glorious lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Campground is a splendid site for that. Lakes? Sure, Rouse Pond is nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Splashdam Pond; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. A quick
visit to Cherry Ridge Run next to Splashdam Pond is a great idea, and don't leave Splashdam Pond without first going for a hike along the Irish Settlement Trail.
