| 10 miles away This is a nicely maintained campground... nice showers, laundry facilities, pool, store, etc. Lots to do in the area. Downside is the noise of the Turnpike which is so close you could touch it. If you are a heavy sleeper, this is the place for you! Otherwise, try to get a site as far away from the tpk as possible... even then, you still hear the rumble but not as much.... |

Some of the campsites are located beside a creek or an unused Covered Bridge. There are tent spaces available on wooded sites. There is fishing in the creek, with a license. There is also catch & release fishing in our 4 1/2 acre lake with out a license. If the morning you can watch the sunrise over the lake and listen to the sounds of the farm animals starting a new day. On any day you can watch the horse and buggy's travel up and down the back roads around the campground. There is a game room with electronic games. On Saturday's there are crafts and board games for children, in the lodge. On sunny Saturday afternoons there is a wagon ride for children around the campground.
