Camping is available at Woodland Park, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Laurel Highlands Trail. Why not camp at Living waters Camp if you're here at Spangler Reservoir; you'll meet a lot of folks from Johnstown here. This lake is so wonderful. Shirfs Run Dam is not far at all from Spangler Reservoir, and
get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Blacklick Creek - South Branch. You can run the rapids of Chest Creek in the neighborhood of Spangler Reservoir, naturally you could also stop by Colver Reservoir since you're here;
it's not far at all.
Spangler Reservoir is a wet location that gets lots of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
