     A great nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums, and Sorber Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a perfect local campground. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Shickshinny Creek; there's whitewater on Wapwallopen Creek for all you adrenaline people. High temperatures at Sorber Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime  
   brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Sorber Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. If the weather is tremendous here at Sorber Pond, you can go for a hike along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail. Lakes are nice; Hillcrest Lake is a lake that's near Sorber Pond.
After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Hazleton is a nice location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Sorber Pond that you need to camp here
 
               for a while, Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites is a delightful spot for that. A typical amount of rain falls here at Sorber Pond; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Just can't get enough of Sorber Pond. One of the main highlights of the surroundings of Sorber Pond is Shickshinny Mountain, and not far from Sorber Pond you'll locate Sunset Lake which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Harveys Creek, and for you golfers we recommend close by Sweet Valley Golf Course.

On July 28, 2008 I drove my 40' motor home to 81-80 CG.? There was no access to the CG.? The drive was blocked with traffic cones.? There didn't appear to be any campers any where around or inside.? It must be closed........
