A great nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums, and Sorber Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a perfect local campground. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Shickshinny Creek; there's whitewater on Wapwallopen Creek for all you adrenaline people. High temperatures at Sorber Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime

If the weather is tremendous here at Sorber Pond, you can go for a hike along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail. Lakes are nice; Hillcrest Lake is a lake that's near Sorber Pond.

Just can't get enough of Sorber Pond. One of the main highlights of the surroundings of Sorber Pond is Shickshinny Mountain, and not far from Sorber Pond you'll locate Sunset Lake which is a gorgeous lake. This lake
is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Harveys Creek, and for you golfers we recommend close by Sweet Valley Golf Course.
