Pole Hill is clearly visible from Sones Pond; there's whitewater on Little Loyalsock Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Bear Run, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Towanda is a good site to spend a night or two.       Sones Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is January. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Sones Pond get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
