Going for a hike along the Big Timber Spur will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and not far from Sones Pond you get some great water scenery at Sones Pond Dam. Sones Pond is a good place of normal rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. At Sones Pond all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Sones Pond through the winter generally plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
