While you're here at Snow Shoe Reservoir, you could also stop by lovely Rockview Reservoir; if you need a site to stay Carnegie House is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to look at along the Dead Horse Trail;       everyone close by loves skiing at Tussey Mountain. Going for a hike on the Wolf Run Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you came to camp Hemlock Acres Campground is a good spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Black Moshannon Lake in the neighborhood of Snow Shoe Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Snow Shoe Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a tremendous place for that.                  All through the summer at Snow Shoe Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Snow Shoe Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. So many entertaining things to do here at Snow Shoe Reservoir, too great to be true. Don't leave Snow Shoe Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Rock Hollow Trail, and Hampton Inn Suites State College PA is a pleasant site to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Snow Shoe Reservoir a wet site; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
