This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Rock Hollow Trail is great fun, and a perfect close by hotel is Carnegie House. Camping is available at Hemlock Acres Campground, and skiing at Tussey Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Snow Shoe Reservoir is a rather wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; throughout the month of June you get the most rain       around here, and the driest month is January. All through the summertime highs here at Snow Shoe Reservoir reach the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Snow Shoe Reservoir descend into the 10's. Snow Shoe Reservoir is right by the Wolf Run Trail, and Holiday Inn Express State College-Wmsburg Sq, Pa is a brilliant                  place to get some rest.
