Hemlock Campground and Cottages is a wonderful local campground; hiking along the Camelback Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch is a good whitewater spot close to Snag Pond, and skiing at Big Boulder is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Lower Klondike Pond near Snag       Pond, and do take a hike on the Refuge Trail. Here at Snag Pond there are plenty of folks from East Stroudsburg, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. English Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp in close proximity to Snag Pond, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek. A common amount of rain falls here at Snag Pond; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Snag Pond                  truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Very lovely scenery and great skiing is what you get at Camelback, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Hamlin is a great choice. West Fork Lehigh River is a good place to pop by; why not camp at Lake Greeley Camp since you're here at Snag Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Snag Pond has to offer. Here at Snag Pond you can see Prospect Rock; Larsen Dam is a delightful location, beyond doubt worth checking out. Do pop by Larsen Lake near Snag Pond, it's a delightful lake, and Snag Pond is right by the Lakeside Trail. Through the summer months at Snag Pond highs are commonly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
