Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NORTH EAST, and a great place to camp here at Smith Reservoir is Creekside Campgrounds. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Chautauqua Creek. This lake is so wonderful. North East Super 8 Motel is a good spot to get some rest; Smith Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Family Affair Campground is a brilliant local campground.       What a place this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Twentymile Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Peek N Peak is a wonderful location to do that. A gorgeous lake like Howard Eaton Reservoir right next door to Smith Reservoir is a wonderful place to take a look at, and Camp Cayuga Dam is a lovely site. Playing golf is lots of fun at Green Meadows Golf Course, and lakes are such serene places, why                  not have a look at Grahamville Reservoir. Smith Reservoir is a good spot of typical rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. All through the summertime here at Smith Reservoir, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
