Sludge Pond One is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Whispering Pines Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby; folks from Weirton-Steubenville love to come here. Summertime highs at Sludge Pond One mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. High       temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sludge Pond One. Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Intl Airport is a tremendous place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Montour Run.
