In Pennsylvania there are many beautiful lakes, Skytop Lodge is one of them. There's good hiking along the Boundary Trail, and if you've had enough of Skytop Lodge, Lake Jamie is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from East Stroudsburg, and don't leave Skytop Lodge without first going for a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail.

| | Burley Inlet Trail. Be careful coming to Skytop Lodge, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Alpine Mountain is a good local ski area; since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. Through the days of summer at Skytop Lodge highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Skytop Lodge.

Do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River if you're here at Skytop Lodge; Skytop Lower Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery. Wallenpaupack Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Skytop Lodge is a good place
to visit for more than one day, Camp Pocono Ridge is a good place to camp nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Skytop Lodge. Dry warm beds await you at Shadowbrook Resort; Indian Ladder Falls
is an inspiring spot to explore while you're here.
In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch, and after a long day outdoors Skytop Lodge is a wonderful place
to spend a night or two. The high level of rain makes Skytop Lodge a rather wet place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is
so wonderful. Ledgedale Recreation Area is a magnificent local campground, and the panorama of West Mountain is lovely.
