This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western University Inn, and a pretty lake like Stephens Lake is a pleasant location to pop by. High temperatures at Simpson Cove through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. During       the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Simpson Cove temperatures drop to the 10's. Near Simpson Cove you discover brilliant places like Ostrander Hollow, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Brown Hollow Number 1 Trail. Hamlin Lake is a splendid lake near Simpson Cove; there's great hiking along the Brown Hollow Number 3 Trail. After a long day outdoors                  Hampton Inn Olean is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Sunset Vue Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rainfall here at Simpson Cove is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and January on the other hand is the driest. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be.
