Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; Darlington Trail is a good local trail, and Silver Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Park Away Park is a tremendous place. From a rainfall point of view Silver Lake is a reasonably typical spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest. All through the summertime months highs here at Silver       Lake reach the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Silver Lake during the winter generally sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Water Tank Trail. Whitewater paddling is fine on Bermudian Creek, and delightful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you obtain at Ski Roundtop. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t                  have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver Creek, and golf can be played at Valley Green Golf Course.
