Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Crawford Trail. Callicoon Creek - East Branch is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Silver Lake, also Upper Tyler Hill Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here. For the period of the summertime at Silver Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days       of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Silver Lake through the winter frequently drop into the 0's. Silver Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Hit the slopes at Ski Big Bear in the vicinity, needless to say you could also visit Sky Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Trail's                  End Camp, and a lake close by is Laurel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Delaware Campgrounds is a splendid place for that, and after a long day outdoors The Settlers Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Take a hike on the Steam Mill Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Delaware River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Silver Lake.
