Stay the night at Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Mifflinville is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. A quick visit to Black Ash Creek close to Silver Lake is a magnificent idea;       do take a look at Paper Mill Pond, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Foss Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. The friendly folks of Bloomsburg-Berwick like to hang out nearby; going for a hike along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Silver Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most; February is when                  it's the driest. At Silver Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Silver Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Good's Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Patriot Inn. This lake is so wonderful.
