Silver Creek Reservoir is a good place of normal precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Silver Creek Reservoir is next to Lower Tumbling Run Dam which is a pretty spot undeniably worth a visit; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Sand Spring Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes       are such serene places, why not visit Silver Creek Reservoir close to Silver Creek Reservoir, and nearby you stumble on the Northkill Path which is a pleasant hiking trail. Silver Creek Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Christmas Pines Camp Ground is a fine local campground, and beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Blue Marsh. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Silver Creek Reservoir you can take a hike                  along the Yellick Path, and why not a little side spree to Mill Creek. A pleasant location to camp here at Silver Creek Reservoir is Blue Mountain Lakes. What a place this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Ramada Pottsville is a great place to spend a night or two, and Silver Creek is a nice lake close by. Through the warm months here at Silver Creek Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; night lows at Silver Creek Reservoir through the winter regularly fall into the 10's. Silver Creek Reservoir is not far at all from Pottsville, and Nescopeck Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by.
