Near Silver Creek you find the Sand Spring Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and paddling on Black Creek is so much fun. Blue Mountain Lakes is a delightful campground nearby, and at Lower Tumbling Run Dam in the neighborhood of Silver Creek there are some attention-grabbing things
to see. A lake close by is Silver Creek Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Northkill Path is always a perfect adventure.
For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Silver Creek reach the 80's, and through the
night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Silver Creek.
