    Siebert Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Siebert Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Somerset; a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Brush Creek. Summertime highs at Siebert Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Siebert Lake night low  
   temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
From Siebert Lake you acquire a perfect sight of Shocky Hill, and Pine Oaks Camp Ground is a delightful campground here. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Siebert Lake has it all. Looking for some flowing water? Try Miller Run, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Grantsville. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Casselman River, and Frostburg Days Inn is a wonderful
 
               site to get some rest.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Siebert Lake a wet place; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Skiing at The Springs at Laurel Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and camping at Siebert Lake is wonderful fun, Mason Dixon Campground is a wonderful local campground.
