There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Spring Brook, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a magnificent choice. If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Lakeland Golf Club; How Kola Camp is a good campground nearby. The warmest time of the year at Lake Sheridan arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the       50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Sheridan are in the 10's. So much cool stuff to do at Lake Sheridan, so little time. If you come at the right time of year, Lackawanna River offers some good whitewater, and a splendid close by hotel is Econo Lodge Clarks Summit. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. Lakes are wonderful; Pedrick Pond is a lake that's                  in the neighborhood of Lake Sheridan. While you're here at Lake Sheridan you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail, and Lake Sheridan Dam is lovely. Lake Sheridan is a relatively wet place usually with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
