Don't leave Shawmut Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Indian Rock Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Anderson Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Shawmut Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's,                  and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Shawmut Reservoir sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Clearview Camp Grounds is a great site to do that, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn & Conference Center is a good choice.
