There's so much to do here at Sharpless Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Koa Philadelphia Westchester is a pleasant spot for       that, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Brandywine Creek. Lower Dam is not far at all from Sharpless Lake, and why not head up to Spring Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at West Chester Golf & Country Club is always a pleasure, and going for a hike on the Buzzard Trail is always a nice adventure. Sharpless Lake is a relatively wet place typically with a large amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Sharpless Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Sharpless Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
