A lake nearby is B Y Recreational Park Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Boyce Park since you're here. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Sewickley Creek, and Shady Lake is not the only place nearby, Indian Lake is a nearby lake. | | 67) is a magnificent location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Shady Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Adventure is a good place for that.
An average amount of rain falls at Shady Lake; May is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Shady Lake is not far at all from Pittsburgh; a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Jacobs Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
