Seneca Lake is a nice lake to visit. A lot of precipitation falls at Seneca Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. If the weather is splendid here at Seneca Lake, you can go for a hike along the Camelback Trail; if you came to camp Chestnut Lake Campground is a nice site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Seneca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fern Ridge Campground is a wonderful location for that; Tunkhannock Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Seneca Lake. One of the principal marks of the surroundings of Seneca Lake is Pohopco Mountains, and do explore Sun Valley Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Chateau Resort at Camelback, and the Indian Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. A journey to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called
the Boulder Field Trail. If you get bored of Seneca Lake, you could also visit close by Hemlock Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from East Stroudsburg here. This lake is so wonderful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this
place. Nearby Poplar Gap is a glorious location to go if you're at Seneca Lake, and Camelback has good slopes and a friendly staff. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do near Seneca Lake. Indian Mountain Golf Course is a glorious
golf course nearby, and a wonderful site for whitewater paddling is Lehigh River. A lake nearby is Indian Mountain Lake; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
