This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Poplar Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here, and Pohopco Mountains is lovely and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Seneca Lake is not the only location nearby, Hemlock Lake is a nearby lake, and why not stop by Sun Valley Dam if you're here. There's nice hiking along the Camelback       Trail, and a perfect site to have a look at close by is Poplar Gap. Do pay a visit to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Seneca Lake; Seneca Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fern Ridge Campground is a great local campground. Chateau Resort at Camelback is a good place to get some rest; camping at Chestnut Lake Campground is always a good experience. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Seneca Lake                  is so good! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boulder Field Trail, and Camelback is a great local ski area. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Seneca Lake will keep you coming back persistently. There's whitewater on Lehigh River for all you adrenaline people, and the Indian Trail offers hiking at its best. Summer at Seneca Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Seneca Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and Indian Mountain Golf Course is a fine golf course close by. The high level of precipitation makes Seneca Lake a rather wet place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Tunkhannock Creek, and the slopes of Big Boulder are so inviting noone can resist.
