Second Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Any time is a great time at Second Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Stay the night at Ken's woods Campgrounds; brilliant hiking is available along the Flat Ridge Trail. Caesars Pocono Palace is a nice place to get some rest; there's great hiking along the Kinney Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Hornbeck's Creek, and a delightful nearby hotel is Fernwood Hotel and Resort.

Whitewater paddling is great on Bush Kill Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Second Pond has to offer,
you can camp at Outdoor World Timothy Lake. Put some time aside to spend at Winona Falls if you're here at Second Pond, and Second Pond is a place with many visitors from East Stroudsburg. There's just no way somebody can get bored
here at Second Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Second Pond without first going for a hike along the Bald Barren Trail; if you have the time, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth visiting. Second
Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
