This lake is so wonderful. Devils Elbow is an out of the ordinary thing to catch a sight of since you're here at Scotch Run Reservoir; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Knob since you're here. Since you're here at       Scotch Run Reservoir why not pop by Kittanning Gap, and there are plenty of folks from Altoona here at Scotch Run Reservoir. Little Conemaugh River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Wright's Orchard Station Campground. Through the summer months here at Scotch Run Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's.
