Schuylkill Canal beyond doubt is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Linfield National Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is French Creek. Unami Creek is a good whitewater spot near Schuylkill Canal, and Schuylkill Canal is not the only site close by, Lake Sanatoga is a close by lake. Hickory Park Campground is a magnificent campground nearby,       and Bear Creek has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Going for a hike on the Buzzard Trail is always a good adventure; if you need a place to stay Staybridge Suites ROYERSFORD-VALLEY FORGE is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Pottstown Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Water World is a nice location to camp. An attention-grabbing thing to go to in close proximity to Schuylkill Canal is Vincent                  Dam, and some close by water includes Brooke Evans Creek. Schuylkill Canal mostly gets a good deal of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Schuylkill Canal while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows at Schuylkill Canal throughout the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Spring Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
