If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a perfect choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Meshoppen Creek. Enjoy a round of golf at MTN Maples Public Golf Course not far from Schooley Pond, and the peak of Mulligan Hill can be made out from Schooley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sunrise Lake Family       Campgrnds, and lakes are such calm places, why not check out Lakeside Pond. The amount of rain that falls at Schooley Pond is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here while January is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come to Schooley Pond. Shore Forest Campground is a good campground nearby; do take a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. There are other places here than                  Schooley Pond, for example Cord Pond, and why not take a little visit to Burdick Creek since you're here. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Schooley Pond has it all. Summertime highs at Schooley Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
