Cord Pond is a lake nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Schooley Pond; Pinnacle Trail is a perfect local trail. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby MTN Maples Public Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Bowman Creek. Schooley Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain       while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came for an overnight stay Shore Forest Campground is a great spot to camp; Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a fine place to get some rest. Mulligan Hill is lovely and can be observed from Schooley Pond. Lakes are perfect; Lakeside Pond is a lake that's near Schooley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Schooley Pond from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, you won't be the only one.                  If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a great choice, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meshoppen Creek. High temperatures at Schooley Pond all through the summer are in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Schooley Pond tend to be in the 10's. Yeah, come here to Schooley Pond for a fine time. Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds is a good local campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water?
