There's so much to do here at Sawkill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, River Beach Campsites is a great spot for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hornbeck's Creek; hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail is pleasant fun. Looking       for a nice tour? Delaware National Scenic River is quite close to Sawkill Pond; Scottish Inns Milford is a wonderful spot to get some rest. A pleasant nearby hotel is RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford; for you golfers we recommend nearby Hidden Acres Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Tanglwood; a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Raymondskill Creek. If you came to camp Camp Tel Yehuda is a nice place to do that,                  and Sawkill Pond is right by the Maple Brook Trail. Having a magnificent time at Sawkill Pond is painless. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Nitche Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Sawkill Pond Dam is a picturesque place close to Sawkill Pond; it's a splendid idea to take a look at Gum Brook. During the summer months highs here at Sawkill Pond reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sawkill Pond plunge into the 10's.
