Sand Spring Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you need a place to stay Split Rock Resort is a delightful choice, and Big Spring is a fine local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Mountain Laurel Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and getting to Sand Spring Run from Sand Spring Lake is trouble-free. take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail; you can hit the slopes at Jack Frost in the vicinity. Why not camp at Jim Thorpe Camping Resort since you're here at Sand Spring Lake, and if you've had enough of Sand Spring Lake, Mosey Wood
Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Lehigh River, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn -Pocono Mountain. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Sand Spring
Lake. A great place to camp here at Sand Spring Lake is Lehigh Gorge Campground, and Split Rock is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. At Sand Spring Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight
lows drop down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Sand Spring Lake.
