Sand Spring Lake is always a pleasure to visit. So much amusing stuff to do at Sand Spring Lake, so little time. The slopes of Jack Frost are so inviting noone can resist; why not take a little trip to Sand Spring Run since you're here. Pine Hill is easy to spot from Sand Spring Lake, and Split Rock Resort is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! This place is so good, just explore all the cool things to do close to Sand Spring Lake. On a great day at Sand Spring Lake you can take a hike along the Boulder Field Trail. An exciting thing
to have a look at next to Sand Spring Lake is Hickory Run Park Dam, and Jim Thorpe Camping Resort is a delightful local campground. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Mountain Laurel Golf Club, and if you
came for an overnight stay Lehigh Gorge Campground is a nice place to camp.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Sand Spring Lake a wet location; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest
of the months is February. Throughout the summertime at Sand Spring Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Sand Spring Lake.
