The amount of precipitation that falls at Ryman Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest month is January. So much cool stuff to do at Ryman Pond, so little time. Ryman Pond is not the only place nearby, Shumans Lake       is a nearby lake, and an interesting thing to check out in close proximity to Ryman Pond is Lake John Dam. Get wet paddling on Loyalsock Creek, and the Irish Settlement Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. High Cobble is a peak you can see from Ryman Pond, and why not camp at Good's Campground while you're here at Ryman Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Ryman Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the                  50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Ryman Pond tend to be in the 10's. You could also go to Lake John while you're here at Ryman Pond; it's close by, and Ryman Pond is right by the Rock Run Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Mifflinville is a nice choice; there's some flowing water close by, Cold Run is a stream you can pop by while you're here.
