Camping at Scarlett Knob Campground is always a fine experience, and Wisp is a very popular ski area close at hand. The warmest time of the year at Russell Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Highs through the       wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Russell Lake. Lake George Dam is a striking location near Russell Lake; it's a nice idea to have a look at Beaver Creek. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Russell Lake has it all. A stunning lake like Deer Lake in the neighborhood of Russell Lake is a fine location to go to; since you're here you can take a hike along the Great Gorge Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  You can run the rapids of Meadow Run near Russell Lake; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Mile Trail. Russell Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
