Rush Brook Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. During the summertime at Rush Brook Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the night is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rush Brook Reservoir are in the 10's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Rush Brook Reservoir. do that. Rush Brook Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A tremendous close by hotel is Mid Valley Motel, and you'll
never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Elk Mountain while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Spring Brook, and not far from Rush Brook
Reservoir you'll find O and W Reservoir which is a pretty lake. Be careful coming to Rush Brook Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are some good whitewater spots on Lackawanna River; there's great hiking
along the Refuge Trail. Skiing at Montage Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rush Brook Reservoir; Choke Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail. This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is beautiful, you get a great vista of Cary Mountain from Rush Brook Reservoir, and enjoy a round of golf at Skyline Public Golf Course.
