Summertime at Rush Brook Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here       at Rush Brook Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A striking lake like Chapman Lake next to Rush Brook Reservoir is a great place to explore, and a good close by hotel is Days Inn Dunmore-Scranton. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Elk Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Lackawanna River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lake Greeley Camp, and it's a brilliant idea to go to Callender Gap Creek. Rush Brook Reservoir                  gets a lot of water; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Clayton Park Recreational Area is a perfect campground nearby; Cary Mountain is clearly visible from Rush Brook Reservoir.
