Rose Bud Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Rose Bud Lake is a place with many visitors from Somerset, and going for a hike on the Spruce Run Trail is always a great adventure. Beaverdam Run is next to Rose Bud Lake and is always a diversion to pop by, and since you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Lake Gloria. This lake is so wonderful. At Rose Bud Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Wolf Rocks Trail, and Somerset Super 8 Motel is a great site to get some rest. Not sufficient
hours in a day to enjoy this location. Near Rose Bud Lake you find the East End Trail which is a great hiking trail, and The Springs at Laurel Mountain is a delightful local ski area. Rose Bud Lake gets a typical amount of yearly
rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
Hidden Lake Campground is a good local campground, and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Sliding Rock Golf Course. The slopes of Hidden Valley are so inviting nobody can resist; whitewater paddling is great on Quemahoning Creek.
