Take a little spree to Beaverdam Run while you're here at Rose Bud Lake, and float down the rapids of Quemahoning Creek in a kayak.                  The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby The Springs at Laurel Mountain, and going for a hike along the Wolf Rocks Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Sliding Rock Golf Course, and why not pop by Gallo Dam if you're here. The cheerful folks of Somerset like to hang out nearby.
