Dry warm beds await you at Colony Lodge; Blue Spring is a picturesque place to go to while you're at Rockview Reservoir. The annual rainfall here at Rockview Reservoir is about average; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kishacoquillas       Creek; there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Sinking Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. McBride Gap is a tremendous location to explore. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rockview Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Hemlock Acres Campground, and the Kettle Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. You're sure to bump into some friendly people from State College here. There's so much to do here at Rockview Reservoir that                  you need to camp here for a while, Fort Bellefonte Campground is a fine spot for that. Any time is a perfect time at Rockview Reservoir if you like the outdoors. If the weather is tremendous here at Rockview Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Tussey Mountain Trail, and Rockview Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Rockview Reservoir. Through the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Rockview Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Rockview Reservoir descend into the 10's.
