Penn Spring Reservoir is a       nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Fort Bellefonte Campground is a great local campground. Any time is a splendid time at Rockview Reservoir if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Rockview Reservoir, you could also stop at pretty Colyer Lake, and if you need a location to stay Colony Lodge is a magnificent choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Rockview Reservoir; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.                  Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Rockview Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Tussey Mountain is great, and do take a hike on the Sinking Creek Trail. You can take a little visit to Rockview Reservoir Dam while you're here at Rockview Reservoir, and the Tussey Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. A brilliant close by hotel is Hampton Inn State College, and if you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Acres Campground is a splendid site to camp.
