Ski Big Bear is a wonderful spot to do that, and if you get bored of Robinson Lake you could also have a look at nearby Fairview Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Robinson Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Cricket Hill Golf Club is always a diversion, and Tanglewood (Vri) is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Robinson Lake is not the       only spot nearby, Decker Pond is a nearby lake. At Robinson Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Robinson Lake drop into the 0's. Here at Robinson Lake there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg; hiking along the Blooming Grove Trail is wonderful fun. Robinson                  Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Robinson Lake is right by the White Deer Trail; on a brilliant day you can have a look at Cattail Swamp, a swamp near Robinson Lake. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Robinson Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Robinson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Caffrey Campground is a good place for that, and the slopes of Tanglwood are so inviting nobody can resist. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Fairview Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Robinson Lake, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to stop by Diamond Creek, it's in close proximity to Robinson Lake, and if you came to camp Caffrey Recreation Area is a great site to do that. If time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit, and Spinnler Point is in the neighborhood and always magnificent to explore. Paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary is so much fun, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the East Branch Bruce Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
