Getting to Big Mill Creek from Ridgway Reservoir is painless. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Ridgway Reservoir is Clarion River, and you're sure to come across some friendly folks from St. Marys here. All through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Ridgway Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the winter highs are       generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ridgway Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's. Best Western Executive Inn is a good location to get some rest, and the scenery at Norton Dam is lovely. Having a nice time at Ridgway Reservoir is trouble-free. Hiking along the Mill Creek Loop Hiking Trail is pleasant fun, and Ridgway Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Footerest Campground is a great local campground.                  Why not take a refreshing hike along the Central Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Ridgway Reservoir is Foote Rest Campground. Take a hike on the Indian Rock Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn St. Marys is a nice place to spend a night or two.
