You'll meet a lot of people from Erie here; Horseshoe Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. What would a place like Ridge Pond be without exciting       close by characteristics like Big Bend, and there's whitewater on Walnut Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Elk Creek. From a rain point of view Ridge Pond is a reasonably typical place; most of the rain falls during September; January is when it's the driest. Harbor Basin has tremendous water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Ridge Pond; Crystal Point is in                  the neighborhood and always great to visit.
